Manager – HR Services & Operational Excellence

Overview

One of our Pakistan-based clients, a leading industrial manufacturing group, is seeking Manager – HR Services & Operational Excellence to strengthen HR delivery across Head Office and Plant locations. 

This role acts as the operational backbone of HR — driving accurate data, compliant processes, automation of HR systems and service-focused HR support. Strong command of HRIS, payroll coordination, statutory compliance and HR documentation is essential to ensure efficient and reliable HR operations.


Education, Experience & Skills:

    • MBA in HR / CHRP (Preferred)
    • Atleast 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience
    • 5+ years in HR Operations & Administration in Manufacturing
    • Strong command of Pakistan Labor Laws & Factory compliance
    • HRIS management capability & advanced MS Excel
    • Proven ability to manage HR services across plant + corporate locations

Key Responsibilities:

HR Administration & Employee Services

      • Maintain complete and accurate employee records (digital + physical)
      • Manage lifecycle documentation: onboarding → confirmation → separation
      • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance data & benefits administration
      • Ensure statutory deductions accuracy (EOBI, Social Security, Tax, PF)
      • Prepare letters, certificates & employment-related communication
      • Support employee welfare & HR policy communication

 HR Operations, Systems & Process Excellence

      • Oversee, manage & enhance HRIS for data accuracy and reporting
      • Standardize workflows, templates & HR SOP documentation
      • Monitor HR service KPIs, turnaround time & control standards
      • Develop dashboards: headcount, attendance, turnover, HR cost
      • Coordinate with plant HR teams to ensure uniform HR practices
      • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Performance Management Administration

      • Execute Annual appraisal process as per policy & timelines
      • Guide managers on evaluation tools & criteria
      • Consolidate evaluation results and support decision-making
      • Maintain confidentiality of all performance documentation
      • Support linkage of appraisals to increments/promotions/PIPs

Compliance & HR Governance

      • Ensure full compliance with labor laws & industrial regulations
      • Maintain statutory registers, Audit documentation & inspection readiness
      • Monitor contractor compliance & workforce regulatory adherence
      • Support policy development and employee handbook updates

Employee Relations & Workforce Support

      • First point of contact for HR operations queries
      • Assist in disciplinary & grievance case coordination
      • Conduct onboarding orientations & HR/IR briefings
      • Maintain positive communication between HR, supervisors & workforce

HR Reporting & Analytics

      • Generate and update HR dashboards & reports
      • Support manpower budgeting and workforce planning reviews
