Overview
One of our global client, with operations spanning across Malawi (East Africa) and Pakistan, is seeking Manager Accounts & Finance to be based in Malawi.
This is a permanent, onsite position offering competitive benefits and relocation assistance. Only qualified professionals from Pakistan will be considered for this role.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- ACCA
- Must have experience working in a leading manufacturing concern or Retail chain.

Preference given to those who are currently in Lahore and open to relocate to Lilongwe, Malawi.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting functions, ensuring all entries and payment vouchers are reviewed and approved before final filing.
- Review and update accounting policies, adjusting chart of accounts for compliance with reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Collect and analyze daily sales, purchase, stock and expense data, generating reports for the Group Financial Controller.
- Liaison with shop managers and warehouse staff to address queries regarding daily reports and implement necessary corrections.
- Supervise salary preparation process, ensuring approval before submission to Group Financial Controller for further processing.
- Collaborate with the tax team to resolve queries and ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Ensure all government payments are made on time, maintaining a smooth and efficient process.
- Review and authorize all reconciliation reports before final submission to the Group Financial Controller for approval.
