Overview

A leading Pakistan-based client is seeking experienced professional for the role of GM Finance. This senior position requires strategic leader to drive financial initiatives, manage investment portfolios and enhance operational efficiency, contributing to the company’s strong legacy and future growth.


Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAP), preferably with Big 4 background.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a significant portion in senior finance leadership roles within top MNCs.
  • Strong background in financial and investment portfolio management, with a demonstrated ability to conduct strategic analysis and deliver measurable results.
  • Experience working within GCC region is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of financial strategies to support company’s growth and long-term profitability. Ensure alignment with business objectives and adapt strategies to market conditions.
  • Oversee preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards. Provide actionable insights and analysis to aid executive decision-making.
  • Lead the strategic management of company's investment portfolios, focusing on maximizing returns while managing risks. Conduct in-depth financial analyses and assessments to identify profitable opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to global financial regulations and compliance standards. Implement robust policies to safeguard the company against financial and operational risks.
  • Mentor and build a high-performing finance team, encouraging innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. Cultivate a strong financial culture across the organization.
  • Partner with senior leaders across departments to support business strategies, optimize resource allocation, and drive strategic initiatives that align with the company’s mission.
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate financial risks through strategic risk management frameworks, ensuring robust internal controls.
