Overview
One of our Pakistan-based clients is looking for Finance Business Partner (Commercial Finance) to drive strategic financial planning, profitability and business performance. This role requires a finance professional who can collaborate with commercial teams, optimize financial operations and lead P&L improvements.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- CA/ACCA is a must (Big 4 background preferred)
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong background in distribution, FMCG, or electronic device industries
- Expertise in financial reporting, pricing strategies, and P&L management
- In-depth knowledge of local tax, banking, customs, and import regulation
- SAP BI knowledge is essential
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive financial and strategic plans spanning monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Align financial strategies with business objectives to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
- Lead in-depth financial modeling and analysis to provide actionable insights for commercial teams and senior leadership.
- Act as a strategic business partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
P&L
& Profitability Optimization
- Oversee P&L performance through advanced variance analysis, cost control measures, and performance-driven initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize profitability and operational margins.
Pricing, ROI & Market Competitiveness
- Conduct ROI assessments, pricing strategies, and SKU profitability analysis to enhance market competitiveness.
- Manage price waterfall structures, including customs calculations, front-end and back-end margins.
Revenue Growth & Market Insights
- Drive revenue expansion through data-driven market analysis, competitive positioning, and financial forecasting.
- Identify growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to local and international tax laws, banking regulations, and import/export policies.
- Oversee customs valuations, regulatory filings, and financial risk management.
Business Expansion & New Product Launches
- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive financial and strategic plans spanning monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Align financial strategies with business objectives to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Governance & Operational Excellence
- Take full ownership of financial accounting, reporting, and commercial finance operations.
- Implement best-in-class financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance protocols.
