Overview
One of our Islamabad-based manufacturing conglomerates, with multiple business units across Pakistan, is hiring Deputy General Manager – Internal Audit. This strategic role, reporting directly to Chief Internal Auditor (CIA), will lead risk-based audits and strengthen governance and compliance across the group.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Must be ACA with Big 4 experience.
- Minimum 12+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- FMCG/MNC experience and expertise in CLP (Continuous Learning Program) are highly desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit strategies and annual plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and compliance across all business units and regions.
- Identify and evaluate key operational, financial, and compliance risks; provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and drive sustainable improvements in efficiency and governance
- Deliver high-impact audit reports with actionable insights to senior management and the Audit Committee, ensuring timely resolution and accountability for control enhancements.
- Oversee the establishment and reinforcement of a robust compliance framework, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies and industry best practices.
- Partner with leadership teams and operational heads to foster a culture of compliance, ethical practices and operational excellence across the organization.
- Stay updated on evolving industry trends, regulations, and global audit standards to refine audit methodologies and proactively address emerging risks.
- Lead and support special audits, investigations, and strategic projects as mandated by senior management, aligning audit priorities with organizational objectives.
