Manager Taxation

Overview

We are hiring seasoned Manager Taxation for one of our Pakistan based client from manufacturing setup to oversee tax strategy, compliance, audits, and group taxation across local and international jurisdictions.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive taxation experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and ERP-based tax reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of local tax laws (fBR | SRB | PRA including Intl. taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on optimization, efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including income tax, sales tax and withholding taxes (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Manage tax audits and litigations, representing client before tax authorities and external legal advisors to minimize risk exposure.
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to senior management, including cross-border and inter-company transactions, contracts and investments.
  • Handle all correspondence and compliance with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and provincial authorities,
  • Oversee group taxation matters, including exemptions, refunds and intercompany allocations.
  • Liaise with external consultants, auditors and legal advisors for specialized tax matters.
  • Maintain accurate tax documentation, reconciliations and support Audit readiness.
  • Contribute to tax function digitalization, automation initiatives and ERP process improvements.
