Overview
We have received a fresh mandate to source qualified Financial Controller for a manufacturing concern. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements, managing financial controls and providing management with accurate financial insights to support business decisions.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- CA Qualified / Finalist (with a maximum of 2 papers outstanding)
- Preferably from a Big 4 firm
- Must have experience working in a leading manufacturing/textile concern
- Preference given to those with SAP B1/HANA experience
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Develop and manage annual budgets, create financial forecasts, and monitor budget vs. actual performance. Requires proficiency in financial planning and analysis.

Collaborate with various departments to understand financial needs and provide support and recommendations. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Generate regular financial reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders. Provide financial insights and updates to senior management. Requires attention to detail and accuracy.

Build and maintain complex financial models to project future performance and evaluate investment opportunities. Requires proficiency in financial modeling tools.
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Requires knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
