Overview
One of our Pakistan-based clients is looking for Finance Business Partner to drive strategic financial planning, profitability and business performance. This role requires a finance professional who can collaborate with commercial teams, optimize financial operations and lead P&L improvements.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- ACA only (Big 4 background preferred)
- 6+ years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Strong background in MNC or FMCG
- Expertise in financial reporting, pricing strategies and P&L management
- In-depth knowledge of local tax, banking, customs and import regulation
- SAP BI knowledge is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review and execute comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual financial and strategic plans aligned with overall business goals to drive profitability and long-term growth.
- Partner closely with cross-functional and commercial teams to provide financial insights, support data-driven decisions and ensure cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Lead in-depth financial modeling, variance analysis, pricing strategies, and SKU profitability assessments to strengthen market competitiveness and operational efficiency.
- Oversee full P&L ownership, including financial accounting, reporting and commercial finance, while driving initiatives that improve margins and control costs.
- Manage price waterfall structures, including customs valuation, front-end and back-end margins, and ensure compliance with tax laws, banking regulations, and trade policies.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance protocols, while identifying business risks, growth opportunities, and strategic improvements.
