Overview
We have a mandate to source Finance Director for a leading Sports and Entertainment business in KSA. The role owns finance function end-to-end, partners directly with the CEO and Board, and brings sector specific financial leadership to a fast scaling entertainment and sports business.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Qualified CA/CPA/CFA
- Minimum 15 years with at least 5 years in leadership role within KSA.
- Must have prior finance leadership experience specifically within Sports and Entertainment - general corporate finance backgrounds without sector exposure do not satisfy this mandate.
- Proven experience presenting to and partnering with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
- Strong command of Saudi regulatory, tax, and Zakat compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead finance function end-to-end, including financial planning, treasury, and controllership, reporting directly to the CEO and Board.
- Requires strategic financial leadership and Board-level communication skills.
- Own financial planning and analysis for Sports and Entertainment business model, including event-based and seasonal revenue forecasting.
- Requires sector-specific commercial finance judgment. - Build and defend the annual budget and multi-year financial plan in Board presentations.
- Requires strong analytical rigor and executive presence.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory, tax, and Zakat requirements across all finance operations.
- Requires deep familiarity with KSA regulatory frameworks.
- Partner with commercial, operations and sponsorship teams to evaluate deal economics and investment decisions.
- Requires cross-functional financial leadership.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team aligned to the scale of the business.
- Requires people leadership and organizational design skills.
