Overview
One of our UK-based clients is expanding their back-office operations in Karachi and is actively seeking experienced Bookkeeper with hands-on expertise in Xero Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Xero and a proven track record in managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks within this platform. Education, Experience & Skills:
- MBA in Finance or BS in Finance/Accounting (required).
- Proven expertise in Xero (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations using Xero.
- Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support payroll processing and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in preparing reports for management and auditors.
- Collaborate with UK headquarters and Karachi back-office team for smooth financial operations.
