Overview
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong US GAAP or IFRS reporting experience and a proven track record of owning the close across several entities. This role suits a hands-on controller who enjoys bringing newly acquired businesses up to group standards and partnering closely with local management.

Education, Experience & Skills
- CA, ACCA, CPA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or controllership; a Big 4 background is an advantage.
- Strong US GAAP or IFRS reporting experience.
- Hands-on multi-entity close experience.
- M&A integration or ERP transition experience is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working with non-finance leaders and explaining the numbers clearly.
Key responsibilities
- Own month-end close and reporting across one or more entities.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journals, and explain results against budget and forecast.
- Support purchase price allocation, earn-out tracking and technical accounting.
- Lead statutory and group audits as the auditors' main contact.
- Bring local processes and controls up to group standards, including SOX where relevant.
- Develop local finance teams to close faster and more accurately.
