Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join leading name in FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the local market and demonstrate exceptional skills in driving sales, managing distribution networks and overseeing key account development.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- MBA in Business, Marketing from accredited institution.
- Proven experience in Business Development within FMCG industry.
- At least 8-10 years of experience, with minimum of 3-4 years specifically in Saudi market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, distribution management and key account development.
Key responsibilities:
1. Distribution Network Development & Management
- Identify and establish strong distributor partnerships in key cities, starting with Jeddah and Riyadh.
- Monitor and optimize distributor performance to meet sales targets at primary and secondary levels.
- Conduct monthly reviews with HoD, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
- Address distributor inquiries, resolving issues locally and coordinating with HoD for further support.
2. Sales Target Strategy & Achievement
- Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities and set ambitious sales projections.
- Develop channel-specific strategies for maximum market penetration and sales growth.
- Regularly track and report on sales performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
3. Key Account Development & Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Lead negotiations and close deals, driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Focus on maximizing growth and penetration within key accounts.
4. Prime Account Development & Management
- Develop and expand prime accounts to drive business growth.
- Ensure high levels of service to retain prime accounts and manage financial aspects in line with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for further expansion within the prime account segment.
5. Sales Structure Development & Team Building
- Assist in recruiting and training field staff, supporting team growth as the business scales.
- Monitor team performance and KPIs, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to ensure alignment with targets and goals.
