Overview
The ideal candidate must be a CPA-qualified audit leader with Big 4 experience and a proven track record of leading audit teams, delivering risk-based audit plans and reporting to audit committees and senior management.
This role requires an audit leader who can provide independent assurance on GRC and turn audit findings into practical recommendations that management acts on.

Education, Experience & Skills
- Qualified CPA (mandatory).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in audit, including at least 5 years leading audit teams.
- Previous experience with Big 4.
- Arabic speaker (required).
- Experience reporting audit results to audit committees, boards or senior management.
- Strong knowledge of risk-based auditing and internal control frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Lead audit function, developing and delivering risk-based annual audit plan approved by the audit committee.
- Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls across the organisation.
- Assess the organisation's key risks and the effectiveness of its risk management framework, highlighting gaps to the audit committee and executive team.
- Report audit findings and recommendations to the audit committee and senior management, and track their implementation.
- Lead, develop and review the work of the audit team, ensuring quality and compliance with professional standards.
- Advise management on control improvements, emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulators where required.
